Hanumanth Rao Naidu (1941 Civil)

It was by the vision and efforts of V Hanumantha Rao Naidu, former Chief Architect of Karnataka, that the Department of Architecture was established in UVCE in 1967. He was a graduate of London's Architectural Association and worked as assistant to Prof BR Manickam and was instrumental in constructing the Vidhana Soudha, pride of Karnataka.
